I played "The Merry-go-round of Life" from the movie "Howl's Moving Castle".
The song has a chanson-style melancholy melody and 3/4 time that seem to express the rotation of a merry-go-round.
This merry-go-round is not just a children's ride, but a merry-go-round of life.
This music came to me as a hymn of life for the wish, "Even if you feel giddy and falling apart when you're sad or unlucky, you can overcome by thinking that it is the merry-go-round of life."
I think it's the perfect song for the beginning of 2021 when the world is at the mercy of COVID19.

シャンソン風の哀愁あるメロディーとメリーゴーランドの回転を表しているかの様な3拍子が特徴の曲です。
このメリーゴーランドは、ただの子供の乗り物ではなく、人生のメリーゴーランド。
悲しい事や不運の中で目が回りそうに思う時があっても、それこそ人生のメリーゴーランドだと思って生きていけたら。と言う願いのこもった人生の讃歌だと思いました。
世界がコロナに翻弄されている2021年の幕開けにぴったりの曲だと思います。
