Hedgehog’s Dilemma / Evangelion PianoForte #1
The title of this music "Hedgehog’s Dilemma" references Arthur Schopenhauer's porcupine's dilemma.
In the third episode of the TV anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, there's a scene with Ritsuko's line:”Even though a hedgehog may wish to become close with another hedgehog, the closer they get, the more they injure each other with their thorns.”
I thought that the composer who turned this kind of concept into a piece of music did an amazing job.

曲名の Hedgehog’s Dilemma 「ハリネズミのジレンマ」は、心理学用語である「ヤマアラシのジレンマ」が元になっているようです。
アニメ第3話の中でリツコさんが↓この様に言っています。
「ヤマアラシは相手に自分の温もりを伝えたいと思っても、
身を寄せれば寄せるほど体中のトゲでお互いをキズつけてしまう」
この様な概念をも曲にしてしまおうとする作曲家って凄いなと思いました。

곡명인 “Hedgehog’s Dilemma”는 심리학 용어인 “고슴도치 딜레마”로부터 유래하였다고 합니다.
티브이 애니메이션 “신세기 에반게리온”의 3화에서 리츠코의 이런 대사가 나옵니다. “고슴도치는 서로에게 온기를 전하고 싶어도 몸을 가까이하려 하면 할 수 록 온몸의 가시로 서로를 상처 입혀버리지.”
이러한 개념을 곡으로 표현한 작곡가가 굉장하다고 생각했습니다.
