Gymnopédie No.1 Érik Alfred Leslie Satie

From the three Gymnopedies, I'll play the most well-known No.1. The title comes from the French form of gymnopaedia, the ancient Greek word for an annual festival where young men danced naked – or perhaps simply unarmed.
The meditative vibe which you can feel the ancient times, unlike classical music until then, felt the healing power when I played it. I hope you enjoy it as a BGM.

それまでのクラシック音楽とは違った、古代を感じさせる瞑想的な響きは、弾いていても癒やされる思いがしました。BGMとしてもお楽しみ頂ければと思います。

세곡의 짐노페디 중 가장 널리 알려진 1번을 연주했습니다.
짐노페디란 고대 그리스에서 소년들이 나체로 춤을 추었던 축제를 의미한다고 합니다. 그 시대의 클래식과 다르게 고대의 느낌이 나는 명상의 분위기를 풍기는 곡으로서 연주하는 데 자신도 마음이 평온해지는 느낌을 받았습니다.
